When we’ve made a mistake, we often try to take responsibility for it. We say things like: “I made a mistake and I’m sorry.” But, we don’t ask the Lord to forgive us. We feel that we have to be responsible for our own mistakes, and we feel that we have to be responsible for the consequences of our mistakes. When we realize the truth, however, we realize that God has forgiven us and has taken care of everything.
No matter how bad our life may look today, His grace is sufficient to cover all of our sins and make us right with Him again. The truth is that our sins are as nothing compared to His grace. His grace is like a big ocean in which we can drown and float at the same time.
Sometimes we may feel like drowning in sin and despair, but then His grace pulls us back up again.
